We invite you to hold your next event at the Mount Dora Yacht Club. We have recently remodeled and have large hall overlooking beautiful Lake Dora that you can reserve for dinners, parties or fundraisers.

Information below is based on a rental of room for 4 hours.

The Yacht Club does have a stationary dance floor. A $200.00 charge will be assessed for removal if requested.
- Rental party must provide the following items prior to approval of an event. Approval of use of
the facility will come in writing from the House Committee Chairman.
a. Completed Rental Application.
b. Completed Contract.
c. Insurance Certificate with all appropriate endorsements.
d. Payment for Rental.
- Rental of the Club facilities
a. $550.00 Fee for up to 150 people plus sales tax.
b. If attendees exceed 150, then every additional 50 attendees is $100.
c. Caretaker will set up tables before event and clean up after the event.
d. If member, up to $200 can be refunded after assessment of club facilities.
e. Cancellations 90 days prior to an event will be entitled to a 50% refund of fee. Less than 90 days prior to the event, parties will be responsible for 25% of the banquet total and the $550.00 fee.
$1,000,000 insurance endorsement, copy of insurance policy or memorandum of broad form comprehensive general liability insurance (typically home owners/host liquor liability) is required with the MDYC being specifically named or defined.
Club Bartender is required. Arrangements made directly. No outside alcohol is allowed on premises.
a. Bar open period is for 4.0 hour of service.
b. Additional bar hours are available at a pro-rated percentage.
c. Well Bar Package $20.00 per person.
d. Premium Bar Package $25.00 per person.
e. Beer and Wine Package $15.00 per person.
f. Cash Bar Package (Tickets): Premium $5, Well $4.00, Beer $2.50, Soft Drinks & Water $1.00
g. 7% sales tax
h. Club member must purchase alcohol from Club representative.
Club Caterer is recommended. If other than Club Caterer, $250.00 fee paid by caterer or renter.
No Linens provided.
Meetings up to 3 hours $100.00 fee up to 30 people. Over 30 attendees $200.00. Clean up negotiated with caretaker.
No smoking or other flammable items. Candles may be used for center pieces with approved Yacht Club chimneys.
Caretaker or Club representative will provide for Club access the day of the event. Additional access dependent upon Club availability and Caretaker schedule. Caretaker or Club representative will review facility, lights, decoration limitations (use only blue tape) and other requirements in person prior to rental activity.
Dock usage only by additional permission.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL CAN BE BROUGHT ONTO THE PREMISES.
