The Mount Dora Yacht Club is Florida's oldest inland Yacht Club. Located in beautiful Lake County, Florida, our clubhouse is nestled in the quaint town of Mount Dora along the banks of Lake Dora. Our goal is to provide an enjoyable atmosphere where we can gather for social events, promote water activities, and cultivate community relations.
57th Annual Sailing Regatta
April 10-11, 2010
Sailors, look to the first weekend after Easter to join us for two days of inland sailing competition, fun activities associated with our Regatta, and many exciting things to see and do in and around beautiful, historic Mount Dora overlooking Lake Dora . Comments from participants in the 2009 event were very complimentary and we intend it to be even more fun and exciting in 2010. This event is focused on all age groups, in multiple classes including an open class. Last year enjoyed a larger contingent of youth sailors from around the state, as well as the local Lake Eustis Sailing Club, participating in Opti, Laser, and Sunfish classes. We are anticipating more sailors for 2010. We can’t control the weather, but we will do all we can to make your weekend a fun and memorable one. Please join us.
